In addition to her training and consulting work, she provides clinical care at East Carolina University, working directly with underserved populations to reduce disparities and improve access to preventive services.  Currently pursuing her MHA, Leonora is focused on healthcare leadership, process innovation, and sustainable improvements in dental education. Seit meinem Abschluss als Dentalhygienikerin HF an der Medi Bern im Jahr 2007 ist die Mundgesundheit meine Leidenschaft. Seit 2017 bin ich als selbstständige Dentalhygienikerin tätig – ob in der Praxis oder mobil – immer mit dem Ziel, Patienten zu einem gesunden Lächeln zu verhelfen.

Die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) begeistert mich jeden Tag aufs Neue: Sie ist sanft, effektiv und verbessert die Behandlung spürbar – für Patienten und Anwender. Diese Erfahrung gebe ich als SDA Trainerin mit voller Überzeugung weiter. Mein Wissen zu teilen und Kollegen zu inspirieren, ist für mich eine Herzensangelegenheit.

During her career Sally has taught undergraduates and worked as a staff member at King’s College London and the University of Manchester. Over the past 25 years she has worked in NHS Community Clinics, General and Specialist Implant and Periodontal Practices. Sally is past president of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) and is Chair of the BSDHT North West Regional Group. She has lectured throughout the UK and Europe to peer group and the wider profession. Sally is a Key Opinion Leader to several leading companies within the Industry and also quality assures dental education. Sally is a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer. In 2013 and 2014 she was made an Ambassador by the ‘Heart Your Smile’ Charity for ‘Changing the public’s perception of dentistry and encouraging better oral health across the UK’. Sally has spent time in Africa and the Lesvos Refugee Camps providing emergency dental relief and continue to raise money for Dentaid through BSDHT.

Janis Spiliadis is an international clinician with over 35 years experience practicing in Switzerland, Greece, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Janis received her degree in dental hygiene from Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach County Florida. In 2007 she obtained her independent hygiene certification allowing her to open her own practice in Switzerland, where she practiced for 25 years. Janis is also served as a member of the Straumann hygiene advisory board and is it KOL for several dental companies.Fluent in French Janis has presented worldwide on the effects of biofilm on systemic health.

Laureata con Lode in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria nel 2016. Sin da subito ho frequentato corsi di aggiornamento principalmente sulla terapia non chirurgica della malattia parodontale, come il corso MeG del Dr. Ghezzi, il corso del Prof. Simion e il corso annuale della SIdP. Ho superato la selezione Trainer nel 2022 e da allora mi dedico con passione all’applicazione e alla divulgazione del protocollo GBT. Lavoro in libera professione a Marano Vicentino (VI) e ad Arsago Seprio (VA).
