Benjamin qualified from Newcastle University in 2011 as a dental therapist. He holds additional qualifications, BSc (Hons) and MA Education.

He splits his time between teaching at the Eastman Dental Hospital, and clinical practice at Clinic 95, Oxford.

His combined interests in education and disease prevention align well with the Guided Biofilm Therapy process and the delivery of GBT masterclasses.

He is a member of the Faculty of Dental Trainers, Association of Medical Educators and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Mya CHOUFANI es una odontóloga suizo-estadounidense altamente dedicada y exitosa que vive en Madrid, España, donde abrió su consulta privada “Clinica CLOE” con la misión de cambiar la forma en que se brinda la atención a la salud oral a los pacientes, especialmente a los niños y mujeres en épocas de pubertad, embarazo y menopausia.

Mya estudió en NYU College of Dentistry, donde obtuvo su título de DDS (doctor of dental surgery), antes de asistir a Mount Sinai School of Medicine para su Residencia en Práctica General. Mya ha podido ejercer en Europa después de mudarse a Madrid al asistir a La Universidad Europea para obtener su Licenciatura en Odontología.

En 2009, se convirtió en la entrenadora fundadora del Swiss Dental Academy (EMS) en España. Desde entonces, ha impartido muchos cursos sobre la tecnología Piezon, la gestión del biofilm y ahora sobre el Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT).

Debido a su amor por la enseñanza y por trabajar con niños, desarrolló un programa llamado “CLOE Smiles for Madrid”, donde dona su tiempo a través de escuelas, grupos, asociaciones etc. a enseñar a los niños la importancia de tener una boca sana a traves de una buena higiene oral.

Laureata con Lode in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria nel 2016. Sin da subito ho frequentato corsi di aggiornamento principalmente sulla terapia non chirurgica della malattia parodontale, come il corso MeG del Dr. Ghezzi, il corso del Prof. Simion e il corso annuale della SIdP. Ho superato la selezione Trainer nel 2022 e da allora mi dedico con passione all’applicazione e alla divulgazione del protocollo GBT. Lavoro in libera professione a Marano Vicentino (VI) e ad Arsago Seprio (VA). 

Mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale nel 2017 presso l'Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, svolgo la mia attività in provincia di Varese e Como con particolare interesse per il protocollo GBT e la gestione del paziente con malattia parodontale.

Dentalhygienikerin Veronika ist eine passionierte GBT Anwenderin, weshalb sie diese Begeisterung als GBT Trainerin in Praxistrainings weitergibt. Für Veronika selbst ist das oberste Ziel, ihre Patient*innen auf dem höchsten Niveau zu betreuen und andere Fachkräfte zu diesem hohen Niveau zu motivieren. Aus diesem Grund ging sie den Weg der Dentalhygienikerin und absolvierte 2019-2021 das Bachelorstudium Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement in Köln und ist seitdem auch für die Ausbildung angehender zahnmedizinischer Prophylaxeassistent*innen und Dentalhygieniker*innen in einem Fortbildungsinstitut tätig.  Um das Fachwissen stets aufrecht zu erhalten und immer auf dem neusten Stand der Wissenschaft zu bleiben, besucht sie selbst gerne Fort- und Weiterbildungen in allen Bereichen rund um die Zahnmedizin.

Sono laureata con Lode presso l'Università di Bologna nel 2018, dove attualmente collaboro nel Reparto di Chirugia Orale. 
Socio SIdP e AIDI, partecipo attivamente a corsi di formazione con particolare interesse rivolto al trattamento di discromie dello smalto e al trattamento non chirurgico della malattia parodontale. 
Da febbraio 2022 sono GBT Trainer certificata dalla Swiss Dental Academy.

Mi sono diplomata con Lode nel 2002 presso l’Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale e ho conseguito laurea con Lode nel 2006 presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria. Dal 2002 al 2020 ho lavorato come Igienista Dentale libera professionista. 
Dal 2021 sono CPS Igienista Dentale presso la SCDU Odontostomatologia dell’Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Maggiore della Carità di Novara. 
Dal 2004 al 2021 ho lavorato come professore a contratto nel Corso di Studi in Igiene Dentale dell’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria.
Dal 2015 sono Tutor clinico-didattico e affidataria di Attività di Complemento alla Didattica nel Corso di Studi in Igiene Dentale dell’Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale.
Ho ottenuto il diploma di GBT Trainer presso la Swiss Dental Academy nel 2019 e partecipo in veste di relatrice a diversi corsi e congressi del settore odontoiatrico.

Binta Visser ist eine engagierte und erfahrene Fachkraft im Bereich der Zahnmedizin, die seit 2020 die SDA mit ihrem fundierten Wissen und ihren Fähigkeiten unterstützt. Ihre Reise in die Welt der Zahnmedizin begann 2011, als sie während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Fachangestellten (ZFA) einen Kurs der SDA besuchte. Begeistert von den neuen Erkenntnissen und dem erlangten Wissen entschied sie sich, ebenfalls für die SDA tätig zu werden.

Nach dem Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung zur ZFA erweiterte Binta ihre Qualifikationen durch eine Weiterbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) und absolvierte anschließend den Bachelor-Studiengang in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Ihre umfassende Ausbildung und ihr Engagement für die Zahnmedizin machen sie zu einer wertvollen Ressource für Praxiskurse.

Binta hat in mehreren Zahnarztpraxen mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten, darunter Kinderzahnheilkunde, Ästhetik und Oralchirurgie, gearbeitet. Diese vielfältige Erfahrung ermöglicht es ihr, die Praxiskurse besonders kompetent zu betreuen und auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer einzugehen.

Ein besonderes Augenmerk legt Binta auf die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), die nicht nur evidenzbasiert und minimalinvasiv ist, sondern auch ein maximal präventives Behandlungskonzept ist. Dr. Saskia Deciu studierte Zahnmedizin in Wien und spezialisierte sich früh auf moderne kieferorthopädische Behandlungskonzepte. Mit einem kieferorthopädischen Fortbildungsdiplom vertiefte sie ihre Expertise in der Zahn- und Kieferregulierung und war zudem im Universitätsdienst in der klinischen Ausbildung tätig. Ihr fachlicher Schwerpunkt liegt in der Aligner-Therapie sowie in der digital gestützten Behandlungsplanung im Sinne der Guided Dentistry. Als ehemalige klinische Spezialistin für Ormco Spark und Damon Ultima verbindet sie fundierte biomechanische Kenntnisse mit innovativen digitalen Workflows und unterstützt Kolleginnen und Kollegen sowohl in der Praxis als auch in Fortbildungen. Ihr besonderes Interesse gilt der digitalen Zahnmedizin, CAD/CAM-Technologien und einer strukturierten, präzisen Therapieplanung, die klinische Sicherheit mit effizienter Umsetzung im Praxisalltag verbindet. Abseits der Praxis widmet sie sich mit ebenso viel Leidenschaft dem Backen – ihr selbstgemachtes Bananenbrot hat unter Kolleginnen und Kollegen beinahe Kultstatus.
